Raising GIRLS

The Road to MANHOOD

Community Forum 14 August 2012 “Men And Mature Masculinity In Today’s World”

Many men have grown up putting their honest feelings aside, seeking to do what society expects with no clear direction. Uncertain of their role in our society, even when they are successful they find their feelings freezing up, and vitality drifting away.

Local men and women are invited to explore masculinity and other topics important to men at a forum conducted by the MENtors Project. This forum is a follow up to the successful “What Do Men Really Want” forum held in February this year.

Mentors from the newly formed MENtors Project will share their views and experience on “walking the walk” in our community.

The MENtors Project aims to build a community of like minded men to support one another to connect and share skills, knowledge and experience and encourage younger men as they come along.

Join us at the second Men’s Forum, facilitated by Rod Mckelvey, on Tuesday 14 August at the Cavanbah Centre, starting at 5:30pm.

All interested men and women are invited.

Refreshments and finger food will be provided.
